Audience Feedback
Dj Delirious sets a trap.
Three pupils that cant stop dancing get sent out their classes.
We pitched our Music Video ideas to our class and we got some feedback and what they thought was good, and what we needed work on.
We discussed who we were going to cast as DJ Delirious to act as a DJ in our music video and we decided that we were going to use a member of staff at school who has an idea on how to run a club. We also discussed health&safety rules in the club shot because the room we are going to use has faulty lights on the ceiling so we would have to make sure the room was available to use when we need it because of the cast in our music videos.
We discussed the mise-en-scene in the room we are going to shoot in and the class suggested that we have to make sure all the things in the room we are going to film in should be cleared before we get there because otherwise the quality of the video won't be as good.
They also gave feedback on the cast and dancers in the video and they said that we would have to make sure all of them are committed before the day of shooting to avoid any inconveniences and people not turning up.
Lastly, our teacher told us that we would have to make sure the lighting in the room was stable and working and we also had to make sure that whilst shooting that the lighting was really good.

Digipaks
Describe what a digipak is.
A digipak is a CD case, but instead of having the standard jewel case; it is made from cardboard. Tehy usually emphasize the genre and have an ongoing colour scheme.
What are the codes and conventions of a digipak?
the codes and conventions included in a digipak are: images so that the audience can be visually stimulated, may include lyrics in the book of thanks, the name must be on the spine of the digipak so that when it it put up on a shelf, the name of the artist and album are on show, there must be a barcode and the copyright must be visible, the website and record label must also be on the digipak and there must be a logo.
Why would a record label choose to release a digipak rather than a CD in jewel case?
Record labels differ, so one record label may choose to release a digipak because they are more personal and intimate as they are pocket size, however, another record label may not release a digipak because they will ruin easily as the case is more fragile.

Moodboard
This is the moodboard for what we wanted our music video to look like. We included various pictures to show the type of people we wanted to cast in our video. We included pictures of male and female dancers because that's what the video will be based on dance. We also made sure we got a specific picture of dancers because we wanted people who could dance to house music rather than another genre of music like disco.
We also included a picture of what we wanted the DJ to look like as a guideline for us.

We also said what shots would be shown when the lyrics'I found a place' was playing. We wanted the dancers in the video to be shown looking for a place to dance until they all meet and find a place they can dance together. The colours were also meant to portray the feeling and what the lighting would like in the video. We wanted the lighting to be bright but the setting would most probably be dark.
The font for the name of our artist 'DJ Delirious' was also chosen carefully because we wanted it to be bold and to be able to be seen. The colour we chose was also deliberate to make it visible in the midst of all the bright colours.
